U.S. Attorney General Sessions Lied To Congress Under Oath About Russian Ties, Faces Jail Time For Perjury

In what has turned out to be one of the most tumultuous administrations in United States history, it was just revealed by authorities that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has lied to Congress while under oath, a crime punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

During his Senate confirmation hearings, Sessions was repeatedly asked if he or any member of the Trump campaign had, at any time, communicated with Russian Officials, to which he denied.

It is not the first time that the Trump campaign has been accused of canoodling with Russia. One respectable report went so far as to say that Trump was a secret Russian Spy.

Just a few weeks ago, Trump’s National Security Advisor, General Michael T. Flynn, was forced to resign due to discoveries that he was in contact with various Russian leaders before and during the campaign.

Some speculate that Flynn fell on the sword for Trump and sacrificed himself for the motherland. Only time will tell.

We’ve reached out to the Trump administration for comment, but unsurprisingly we have yet to heard back from them.

He clearly said it was in his capacity as senator, not a campaign surrogate…

Perfectly legal, as Pelosi and Shoomer did the same…
